"Touch and Plant Life" transforms the mechanical reactions of plants such as mimosa and sundew into abstract line animations through TouchDesigner, interpreting the life rhythm of plant mechanical reactions. The aim is to start from multiple aspects such as the growth environment, physiological structure and behavioral habits of plants, classify them into three major categories: predation, barrier and perception, and efficiently and easily extract their key dynamic features, including changes in speed, force and direction. Adhering to the principles of authenticity, systematicness and simplicity, and by applying technical means such as sensor detection and computer vision algorithms, the extracted dynamic data is transformed into forms like visual animations, dynamic charts and text descriptions, providing dynamic data and visual materials for multiple fields including biology teaching, ecological simulation and creative design, and recreating the dynamic language of plant life in the digital world.
