Glacier "Anatomy"

China's glaciers show a comprehensive trend of accelerated recession, and some glaciers have entered the state of life countdown. This work explores the visualisation of the homogeneous mapping relationship between glacier ecological changes and human pathological changes, and through a speculative perspective, the glacier becomes life, visualization and personification, fictionalising an anatomical diagnosis of glacier digital lifeforms in the future.The work use a "diagnosis and treatment of nature" approach guides the public to pay attention to the multi-dimensional entangled relationship between glaciers and the human body, and explores more possibilities for the popularisation of the ecological crisis under the new media. By comparing the glacier mountains to bones, ice sheets to muscles, and runoff to blood, combined with the geomorphological information such as the direction of the glacier terrain, the distribution of runoff, etc., to construct the basic form of the glacier digital life form, and the age of the glacier, the degree of ablation, and other data information is used for the differentiation of the form, and thus designed the digital life form for the four typical glaciers in the country respectively. Each glacier has an exclusive medical record file, which visualizes the data reflecting the glacier's health level in scientific research data, such as glacier mass balance parameters, area degradation rate, annual melting amount, etc. The visual narrative is carried out through three levels: "Glacier ECG", "Glacier CT", and "Life Countdown". At the exhibition site, viewers can interact with different glacier modules to trigger the presentation of their corresponding digital life forms and medical records, and the viewer's touch will, to a certain extent, affect the test results of the glacier medical records. The work shows the multi-dimensional and entangled relationship between glaciers and the human body, alluding to the current situation and consequences of glacier melting in China.The work is a microcosmic

中国冰川呈现全面加速消退趋势，部分冰川已进入生命倒计时状态。本作品在冰川生态变化与人类病理变化的同质映射关系下进行可视化探索，通过思辨视角将国内四座典型冰川生命化，虚构了一场在未来对冰川数字生命体的解剖诊断，以“诊疗自然”的观法引导公众关注冰川和人体的多维度纠缠关系，探索新媒体下生态危机科普策略的更多可能性。 拟冰川的山脉为“骨骼”、冰层为“肌肉”、径流为“血液”，结合冰川地势走向、径流分布等地貌信息，构建了冰川数字生命体的基础形态，冰川的年代、消融程度等数据信息则用于形态的区分，以此为国内四座典型冰川设计了数字生命体。每座冰川有专属病历档案，将科考数据中体现冰川健康程度的数据，例如：冰川物质平衡参数、面积退化率、年消融量等进行可视化，通过“冰川心电”、“冰川CT”、“生命倒计时”三个层面进行视觉叙事。在展演现场，观者可以与不同冰川模块交互，触发其对应的数字生命体和病历档案的呈现，并且观者的触摸将在一定程度上影响冰川病历的检测结果。 作品展现冰川和人体多维度的纠缠关系，影射国内冰川消融的现状及后果。以微观寓宏观，带动观者联觉体验，旨在引导观者重新思考人与自然的共生关系。
