The series design work "China in a Village" takes inspiration from the village's homeland and childhood memories, condensing the simple village on the plain where more than 80 households live into a cultural symbol that carries collective nostalgia. When the smoke from cooking, the bungalows, and the shade of locust trees are reflected in memory, those "old things" soaked in body temperature become the medicine that heals the soul - the temperature in the coarse pottery bowl condenses the survival wisdom of the ancestors, the fireworks in the alleys are the epic of ordinary life, and my "living harbor" is also my inexhaustible source of inspiration. The "China in a Village" series of women's clothing designs, with 90% of its core materials sourced from three major channels. One method is to recycle the waste generated by clothing companies, factories, and fabric recycling stations in Guangzhou and surrounding areas, including test fabrics, sample color cards, cutting scraps, and defective fabrics. The second part of the material comes from the useless items I recycle in my daily life. Thirdly, a portion of the materials are taken from old items that are considered "useless" and discarded in the village. Although these materials may seem abandoned and hidden in corners of the world, they actually contain unique value. I use the concept of regeneration design to deeply explore their potential charm through recycling, disinfection, sorting, and classification.
